Wells Fargo Rebuilding Day 2026: A Small Crew, a Big Day in Stead
On Saturday, October 24, Wells Fargo volunteers joined our team in Stead for exterior home revitalization at the home of a three-generation household.

Wells Fargo Rebuilding Day, Stead, October 24, 2026.
A Small Crew, a Big Day
The day started with a front yard buried in overgrown brush. Volunteers cut it back, hauled it to the dumpster load by load, and then moved to the backyard to tear out old, weathered wood. By the afternoon the yard was clear, the debris was gone, and the home looked brand new from the curb.
It was a small group, so everyone on site lent a hand, our staff included. That is what Rebuilding Days are about: a team showing up for a neighbor and seeing the difference by the end of the day.
Wells Fargo Builds: This year Wells Fargo is donating $1.1 million to Rebuilding Together to provide essential, no-cost home repairs in 30 communities across the country. Like us, Wells Fargo envisions safe homes and stronger communities for everyone.
Safe at Home
Exterior work is about more than curb appeal. A clear yard and safe paths mean fewer trip hazards and a home that is easier to live in and care for. Projects like this help our neighbors remain safe in the homes they love.
We currently serve Carson City and Washoe, Douglas, Lyon, Churchill, and Storey counties. The need is greater than we can meet, and every partnership helps us reach one more home.
Thank you to the Wells Fargo volunteers who gave their Saturday, to our board members and OT who were on site, and to the family who welcomed us into their home.
