FY24-25 Annual Impact Report: A Year of Mission Moments

Rebuilding Together Northern Nevada team and volunteers

Dear Friends, Partners, and Rebuilders,

We are delighted to share our FY24-25 Annual Impact Report, reflecting on the work we accomplished together and the lives we strengthened along the way. This report is more than numbers on a page; it is a collection of Mission Moments, stories of resilience, and proof of what happens when a community shows up for its neighbors.

This fiscal year marked a significant milestone for Rebuilding Together Northern Nevada. We celebrated five years of service, launched our Rebuilders Giving Circle, and completed 793 critical repairs for 87 households across six counties. Each repair represents a moment when someone felt seen, supported, and able to remain in the place they call home.

The Work We Do

Our programs address the most urgent needs of our neighbors. Through Rebuilding Days, we mobilize corporate volunteers for high-impact exterior projects. Our Safe & Healthy Home Repair program tackles critical health and safety hazards year-round, including plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs. The Fall Prevention Program installs grab bars, railings, and lighting to prevent injuries. And through Safe at Home, we provide fire alarms, extinguishers, and education to keep families safe from fire hazards.

This year, we served a population that reflects the most vulnerable members of our community:

  • 86% of homes served had older adults aged 60 or older
  • 62% of homes had persons living with disabilities
  • 22% of households were extremely low income (earning $0-$21,250 annually)
  • 50% of homes were manufactured or mobile homes
  • 63% of homeowners were women
  • 15% of homes served veterans

These numbers tell a powerful story about who needs help most and why our mission matters.

"We really appreciate all the hard work that was done. We are really happy and satisfied with our new range and hood, and our new walk-in shower and toilet. Thank You!"

— Betty, Sun Valley

Betty's words capture the heart of our work. A new walk-in shower and kitchen updates may seem like simple fixes, but for a homeowner, they represent safety, dignity, and the ability to stay in a place filled with memories. As one client, John, added, "This is a great service with great people. We are truly grateful to know them."

Partnerships That Multiply Impact

None of this work happens alone. This year, we were proud to partner with the Nevada Housing Division, whose funding and support made critical safety modifications possible. We also worked alongside corporate partners like The Home Depot Foundation and Wells Fargo, whose employee volunteers and financial support powered our Rebuilding Days. Our network of donors, contractors, and community organizations made every repair a reality.

You can see our partnership with the Nevada Housing Division in action by reading our previous blog post, where we shared the story of Barbara and William Bennett and their new accessible shower.

Five Years of Growth

Over the past five years, RTNNV has grown from a small, determined effort into a trusted regional resource for safe and healthy housing. We have completed hundreds of critical repairs, launched targeted safety initiatives, and built a strong network of supporters who believe in our mission. This milestone year included a special celebration at The Lodge Patio, where more than 75 supporters gathered to honor our progress.

We also launched the Rebuilders Giving Circle, a monthly giving program that provides steady, reliable support for critical home repairs throughout Northern Nevada. Every recurring gift, no matter the size, builds long-term stability for our neighbors.
